Latest Servicepacks for Users of Version 2.0

Servicepacks  for ADELINE version 2.0-NT are available for users from this page.

Note that the servicepacks can only be used together with a licenced copy of ADELINE 2.0-NT.

To install a Servicepack:

  1. Get the file(s) (executable)  from this page via your WWW browser
  2. Put it on an arbitrary location on your hard disk or on a floppy
  3. Start the transfered program
  4. Follow the instruction on screen.

Servicepack 9c (Version 2.0-NT (SP6) of April 4, 1999)

Note: The servicepack does include all previous packages!
  • Servicepack1:
  • ADELINE: import dialogs for dxf and scribe import did not close - fixed
  • PLINK: the program was not able to handle long filenames - fixed
  • RADIANCE: program chashed when opening rif-files including view definitions with additional options - fixed.
  • RADIANCE: importing a scribe model it was only possible to select an existing file as target file - fixed.
  • RADLINK: site definition dialog: the value for the ground reflectance was displayed in the wrong units - fixed.

  • SUPERLITE: output plot dialog - worksurface selection was not possible when using more than one worksurface - fixed
  • SUPERLITE: under NT 4.0 in the file selection dialogs *.in files could not be selected using the *.in filter
  • SUPERLITE: under NT 4.0 without reason some error messages apeared when starting calculation, plots, etc.
  • SUPERLITE: bug fixed concerning file handling for comprehensiv models with luminaires
  • SUPERLITE: bug fixed concerning the changing of calculation accuracy, no reimport necessary any more
  • RADIANCE: bug fixed that from time to time blocked rview or rpict calculation by error message: wrong path or filename

Known Problems and Unfixed Bugs

  • SUPERLITE/PLINK: PLINK uses a tolerance of .2 SCRIBE-units to determine if two surfaces are coplanar. This could lead to problems, especially if luminaire groups are drawn very close to the ceiling of a model, since the current SUPERLITE version does not allow luminaire groups to be cut off from any other surface. This means, for instance, that if the user draws in meters and a luminaire group is not more than 20 cm below the ceiling, the luminaire group and the ceiling are considered to be coplanar. This may lead to a program crash in SUPERLITE.
  • ADELINE: On some systems negativ values are displayed as values in braces.
